Intro
For many as we grow beyond our 40’s we experience an incredible number of transitions that come with great challenges as well as adding wisdom to our life experience. Feeling lost during this time is also extremely common. Yet within all this change, so can the feeling of becoming more in tune with oneself. More powerful.
I have found that from 40 onward there are a vast number of tracks women are on. Some women are experiencing a lot of struggles while others are in step with their power.
Women Over 40 is an elevating portrait and story project designed to rediscover, amplify & capture the soul of who you are. I will show you the beauty that resides within you because you are 40+! This includes 50’s, 60’s, 70’s 80’s and beyond!!!
It is time to honor where you are at & how far you have come. The life story you have! Allow me to freeze time & capture yours. The wisdom you have, the inspirations to share. Inspire & be inspired by this group of women. Join us!
The Vision
To give women an experience that builds on confidence and inspiration. I want each and every woman to be celebrated, empowered and be reminded of how beautiful and capable they are because they are 40-plus. These women will walk away with their heads held high and works of art to hang on their walls. Reminders of just how amazing they truly are. Their stories and lived wisdom recorded. Through portraits and story women will have the opportunity to fully express themselves. Please note that you are in total control of your images and your story. 40 Over 40 Sessions. Price & Description…
3 Hour Solo Shoot. Includes 1 matted enlargement created in Italy plus personal invitation to the afterparty celebrating all participants. Also, the opportunity to share some words of wisdom via a Q&A & if it calls to you, to promote your business if you are a solopreneur: Early bird price: $375 (reg: $425)
Your Photoshoot Experience: Either in person consultation or by video call to design your shoot. Photoshoot includes, professional makeup application in your style and natural dry hair styling/touch-ups. A three hour photoshoot, time for 2-3 outfit changes & fully guided posing.
Also included is: One complimentary matted 8 x 10 fine art print created in Italy. Digital file included. Additionally, the opportunity to record words of inspiration from your life experiences. (Total Value: $750) Participants will also have the option to purchase additional images/prints from their shoot.
Please note that if you prefer your print(s) to be created/framed locally. I can accommodate this request. An additional charge may apply.
5 Hour Doubles Shoot: Includes 2 matted enlargements created in Italy plus personal invitation to the afterparty celebrating all participants: Early bird price: $675 (re: $750)

Photoshoot Overview
My shoots have nibbles and an assortment of beverages (including a little bubbly). Good music & well, it’s quite an event! Consider it a day out just for you. To be pampered and to tap into the magic that makes you, you! I will guide you through poses -you don’t have to know how to pose!
Access to professional makeup application and outfit changes. A variety of backgrounds, perspectives and lighting. Everything is brought together to amplify who you are…. your best, authentic self..
Also, you’ll want to plan a night out afterwards. We can’t be responsible for the amazing time you will have looking and feeling your best!, there is a positive lasting effect that follows you out the door! Aprox. 4 weeks later, you will get to revisit the experience through your personal reveal of the absolute best images from you shoot and select the image or images that you love.

To celebrate, participants will be invited to attend a champagne afterparty that features all of the women in print at the completion of this project!!
Just a heads up! Upgrades are optional and in fact, most people do upgrade but it is not required. Everyone’s needs are different. I’m just happy to have you join this group of incredible women!!! Five Things You Should Know:
You ARE photogenic—So many women tell me “I’m not photogenic” and then they see their images & realize this simply isn’t true….I prove otherwise. ; in all of my experience I’ve yet to meet someone who isn’t photogenic. In fact, I don’t really believe in the word photogenic. It’s about connection. Providing space where a person can truly relax into themselves and then finding the light… the angles….
Those last 10-15 pounds DON’T MATTER—a photographer can either make you look 10 pounds heavier or 10 pounds lighter— I have personally experienced this having my own pictures taken. A professional knows how to pose and light their subject to compliment their form.
You DO NOT need to know how to pose—that’s my job as the photographer.
Yes, you may feel nervous at first, BUT that’s normal— Everyone feels those nerves. Just know that 99% of my clients soon realize after they ‘warm up’ (10 min or so) that they are having fun! NERVES MELT AWAY really quickly.
In addition to your photo session, I will be offering an optional interview for each woman that I photograph to record their life story and/or words of inspiration. This will either be via written response or in person. With your consent, your interview will be published along side other participants. Additionally you will have the opportunity to be featured in a soon to be released magazine: In & Visible.
